Insured /Pet first aid

Before we consider a dog for any of our services, a consultation/meet and greet must be carried out in advance at our home. We are also happy to meet on neutral ground, i.e. out on a walk first. 

During the consultation we will discuss ; Medical history and any current medical conditions, General History, Behaviours, Exercise, Food and Diets, Routines and Home, Boarding details. We will go through our Consultation and paperwork. 

It is, you the owner's responsibility to provide comprehensive details about your dog, and to be completely honest about any traits, vices or behavioural problems, both positive & negative (however small). We rely on this information to be able to manage any issues and provide a good experience and quality of service for your dog. Any misinformation may jeopardise your dog's stay with us. We are not qualified trainers or behaviourists; however, we will do our best to manage any situation or issue that arises and will source guidance from other professionals if necessary. We may need to contact you if your dog exhibits any behaviours not previously disclosed or toilet issues .You would need to arrange pick up immediately..

School holidays, particularly during summer, is a remarkably busy time for us so we recommend that you confirm any dates for boarding as soon as possible.

Full payment for any bookings must be made within 3 days of an invoice being issued. (Cash or Bank transfer as noted on invoice.). Late payments may jeopardise
your booking, and you may need to source an alternative.

Prices 

Boarding overnight £40 (24hrs)

Your dog must be picked up by 11.30am or a full day care will be charged.

2nd dog from same household £35 overnight .. 

Doggy day care £35 a day . (8hrs)

For bookings made in advance, you will be invoiced for a 20% deposit. Your booking will not be secured until the deposit is paid. Deposits are non-refundable (unless I have to cancel)
The full amount is due 10 days before boarding . 

Milo’s Paws & Pals are a licensed company. CB/LANW/22/009205 so spaces are limited for both boarding & care. If you need to cancel day care or overnight, please provide as much notice in writing directly to Vicky at Milo’s Paws & Pals either via email or messaging on mobile. Charges may apply 

Health & Welfare
We insist on all dogs having current annual booster vaccinations before boarding with us, and puppies to have had their second course of vaccinations. This is for the protection of your dog, , all other boarders, and any dogs they may come in contact with; it is also required for insurance purposes and as part of the license provided by the council. Your dog must be 
appropriately treated for external & internal parasites with an appropriate
product authorised by a Vet and in accordance with veterinary advice before entry. 

If your dog becomes ill or injured while boarding with us, it will be necessary for us to contact your vets for advice or, if necessary, to take them in for a medical consultation at our registered vet. If you request, we will contact you (if possible) in the first instance, prior to contacting the vet. We request that you provide permission for us to approve necessary treatment; and you, as the owner will assume full responsibility and pay for any required treatment. You agree that Milo’s Paws & Pals is authorized to take your dog to our registered veterinary practice for treatment. We strongly suggest that you have an insurance policy in place. Milo’s Paws & Pals cannot be held responsible for any veterinary treatment that may result in loss, injury, or death of your dog.. 

We will provide safety, security, mental stimulation, including simple command training, nutrition, adventures, entertainment, physical exercise, enrichment, companionship, socialise them with other dogs, and humans with at least two 30 minutes walks a day . We will interact with them, feed them, and make sure that they always have fresh water & are provided with any medication required.

What owners provide:
All food is to be provided by the owner (please ensure you bring enough for their entire stay), as well as any necessary equipment i.e. bedding, and transport harness, collars, leads , poo bags etc., grooming equipment, and any relevant medication.
Paperwork (required for license)
All clients must complete and sign all relevant paperwork, including our terms and conditions, consultation, and behaviour evaluation form, which includes the veterinary release instruction form and off-lead permission, any permission requests, and a privacy notice form. By signing the consultation form, and any other necessary forms that pertain to Milo’s Paws & Pals, you agree to accept and are contractually bound by our terms and conditions.

Client confidentiality will always be maintained, details will be kept private and will never be used for any purpose other than caring for your dog.

Days of business
We are open throughout the year, although we will inform our regular clients of any vacation dates in advance.
